Francesco Ziello is a multi-instrumentalist musician and electro acoustic composer born in Rome in 1984. His experience went through the academic studies at Music Conservatory of Santa Cecilia where he studied piano, composition and electronic music besides a self-made approach on percussions and guitar that led him to develop a sound vision based on minimal elements, combined with a timbre and expressional research. His projects summarise the path made until now and bring together issues, research methods and moods related to the contemporary and experimental music, keeping at the same time a strong connection with tonal language. He completed his Conservatory studies in 2012. Between 2012 and 2017 he took part to many festivals like ArteScienza, Emufest, FestivalContro as a performer of contemporary music and electro acoustic composer. Since 2017 he takes part to the activity of research in the field of possible application of music towards neurological pathologies. His research was made, in collaboration with CRM of Michelangelo Lupone, as music assistant of an experiment conducted by the faculty of psychiatric rehabilitation of Tor Vergata University in Rome. Since 2015 he collaborates as a composer and sound technician with Accademia Nazionale Di Danza, with dance company PinDoc and with Eurasia Dance Project of choreographer Stefano Fardelli, for whom he wrote the music of some shows of contemporary dance performed in Asia and Europe. Founder member of cultural association Avidi Lumi, since 2018 he follows different projects of contemporary music with didactic and informative purposes.
