Scosse Elettriche (Electric Shocks) is the new experimental creation by Riccardo Sinigaglia and drummer percussionist Davide Zolli. The meeting between two generations of free musicians. The duo play an advanced and swirling space-rock that thrives on continuous ascending and descending tension - velvety like a Farfisa organ on a spasmodic poisoned rhythm - and mysterious like the voice of the flute. Another kosmische interpretation of the thin line between rock and avant-garde merging electronic music, impressionist and free-jazz piano, minimalism and krautrock.

Davide Zolli:

Davide Zolli (Venezia 1980) is an Italian underground drummer, percussionist, music and event producer. He is part of Scosse Elettriche with Riccardo Sinigaglia and drummer of the Beirut based experimental band Calamita with Sharif Sehnaoui and Tony Elieh.
Former drummer of psych/avant/krautrock collective Squadra Omega.
Drummer and co-founder of the garage rock and roll band The Mojomatics (2003 - 2014).

Riccardo Sinigaglia:

Born in Arona in 1953, Riccardo Sinigaglia, both architect and musician, teaches electronic music at Milan Conservatory where he also studied during the 70's. His work is based on modes, meaning tone, pythagorean scales and complex polyrhythmics. Sinigaglia is also deeply involved in ethno musicology; In the 80's he founded Futuro Antico with Walter Maioli and Gabin Dabiré, a cross between electronic and etno shamanic music. In 1985 he and Mario Canali started to work with digital systems and so Correnti Magnetiche came to light, creating audio-visual compositions, producing videotapes, installations and live-electronic concerts.

Trio Cavalazzi:

Trio Cavalazzi is a young string trio formed by Milanese brothers Alessio, Elisa and Andrea.

The impressive versatility of revisiting and stylistic recreation of their strings (minimalism, avant-garde, orient) can remember, in their occult formal abstractionism, the esoteric glories of the Third Ear Band. Thus, their sharp and radial trajectories create a parallel and alienating acoustic dimension. It’s the space of a magical synergy, a successful fusion towards the development of a new and futuristic chamber music.
